The paper studies LiNbO3 (LN) crystals with a near-stoichiometric composition (NSLN). study establishes the possibility of different physical methods to reveal NSLN crystals’ exact composition. main goal was establish how precisely these can composition, including defective structure. This structure determines properties that are important for application crystals. Two Li/Nb ratio have been studied by IR and NMR spectroscopy. grown from congruent melt K2O flux contents (5.0 5.5 wt%). data on compared (CLN) CLN most widely used LN has established analysis spectra determine within [Li2O] = 48.6 – 50.0 mol% range, while 93Nb wider range sensibility. stoichiometry or concentration antisite defects NbLi. Different erasure mechanisms are investigated, and a recording schedule for multiplexing holograms with equal diffraction efficiencies is proposed.
